All About Flower-Soft

If you've seen or have even purchased Flower-Soft but just don't know all of the wonderful ways to use it, this is the class for you!. In this fun and informative class we will make a bundled bouquet, a vase of flowers, a beach scene for scrapbooking and a beautiful card.

Please bring your favorite pair of scissors and adhesive with you to class. All other supplies will be furnished at a cost of $20.00. This includes a container of original and ultra-fine flower-soft in your choice of colors as well as flower-soft glue and wires for you to take home.

Amazing Zentangle Art

Doodling is raised to a high art form in this class. Learn to make pattern fills and use them creatively to make your own fascinating drawings, with new patterns featured each month. After the first class you'll be hooked and will want to sign up every month!

Please bring a #2 pencil and 01 and 05 black Zig pens to class with you. These can be purchased at The Craft Retreat prior to class if you don't have them. All other supplies will be furnished.

Cricut A-Z Instructions

Finally a comprehensive Cricut class! Is your Cricut sitting in a closet waiting to be figured out? Dust it off and bring it to class with you, as you will be learning all about the Cricut using your very own machine. You will touch every button, learn some tips and tricks along the way and complete a project in class.

Please bring your Cricut, the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge, the cricut tool kit if you have one, a cutting mat and cutter (spares are always recommended) and an EK Success dual glue stick (widest tip) to class with you. (We have them at The Craft Retreat if you don't have one)

Cricut Pens Project

This class is a how-to - why-to use the pens made for the Cricut personal cutter. It's a continuation of the Cricut A-Z class taught by Sasha and she asks that you take her A-Z class before this class.

Please bring your Cricut, the Wildcard or any cartridge that makes a card as one of it's features, the Accent Essentials cartridge or any accent cartridge, your favorite scissors, glue and two-sided tape to class with you. If you don't have those cartridges, bring what you have and we'll make it work.

All other supplies will be furnished, including a set of 5 Cricut pens in your choice of colors (a $14.99 value). The cost of supplies for this class is $20.

1 skein of sport or worsted weight yarn, preferably light in color

Introduction to Digital Scrapbooking

Want to learn how to Digital Scrapbook with an online program? Do you have photos on your hard drive that you would like to showcase? We'll help you turn your photos into professionally bound storybooks, cards, posters and many other fabulous things. If you have printed photos that you would like to use in your Digital Scrapbooks, we can help with that too! There will be a high speed scanner available to use during class for just $.019 per scan.

If you have a laptop with wi-fi capabilities, bring it to class with you and we'll get you started. If not, that's okay. Just come and learn and then you'll be able to apply your new skill at home on your PC.

One Stroke Painting - Beginner

A Level 2 Certified One Stroke instructor is offering beginner and intermediate classes. Get in touch with your creative side and have fun! Learn to paint on a variety of surfaces like canvas, paper, glass, candles and even fabric. Once you've completed the three beginner classes there will be a new project every week.

Loaner supplies are available for your first class if requested. The basic supply list will be furnished with class registration.

A basic supply kit can be purchased from the instructor with advance notice for $20.

SDU - Scrapbook Design University

Taught at your local craft and scrapbook stores, SDU teaches beginner through advanced scrapbookers the essential scrapbook theories and principles of design. SDU will dramatically enhance the skills of any scrapbooker to create dynamic scrapbook pages.

This four week class covers all aspects of scrapbooking from basics to layouts to color to journaling to embellishments!

Wilton Cake Decorating - Course 1

Thousands of people just like you have experienced the excitement of decorating their first cakes in a Wilton Method Class. With your Wilton Method Instructor as your guide, you will see how easy and rewarding it is to decorate wonderful cakes and other desserts that will delight your family and friends. Course 1 is the perfect place to start. Your Instructor will show you the right way to decorate, step by step. You will share the fun with other students, who encourage you along the way. Wilton Cake Decorating - Course 2

Build on the skills you learned in Course 1. Your Wilton Instructor will introduce you to many dramatic techniques to make your cakes unforgettable. Master elegant new borders featuring rosettes, reverse shells and rope designs. Give your cakes incredible dimension with the addition of bold color flow decorations. Create lovely new flowers like rosebuds, daisies, daffodils, mums and more. Use these flowers in a grand finale...an impressive flower basket cake using the interwoven basketweave technique.
